    • Arrive at the office

    • Discuss with senior the expectation for the day and what needs to get done

  • Schedule:
    • Review emails
    • Check-in with team
    • Meet with senior/manager to discuss projects and questions
    • Begin drafting slide decks, memos, preparing tax returns, etc.
    • Submit drafts to senior/manager to review
    • Lunch with team
    • Meet with senior/manager for review comments and feedback
    • Call with PwC member firm
    • Attend tax technical/industry-specific training or webcast
    • Coffee with team
    • Continue preparing slide decks, memos, tax returns, etc.
    • Plan for the next day and upcoming client assignments
    • Head to campus for recruiting event

A Day in the Life – Risk Assurance: Christopher Thompson

  • 5 different areas of emphasis
  • Schedule
    • Commute to client site of PwC office and catch up on news
    • Arrival at the office, grab coffee, check calendar and email, prioritize to-do list for the day
    • Revisit workpapers or review associate’s work
    • Utilize PwC’s shared tool online to check on the status of client requests and respond to any follow up questions or set up a meeting with the client
    • Lunch
    • Meet with client (send agenda beforehand)
    • Team check in to answer questions, review client meetings, identify any issues, discuss flexibility options, and overall look at the status of the engagement
    • Wrap up for the day and head home or to an activity
